Selecting by Dragging!
To select text by dragging:!
1 Position the I-Beam cursor in front of the first character you want to select.!

To select text by using the keyboard:!
1 Position the I-beam cursor in front of the first character you want to select.!
2 Hold down the Shift key.!
3 Press the Left or Right Arrow key to extend your selection by one character to the left or right.!
